BOSMAN Thermal Insulation. Insulation foam is a spray-applied, ready-to-use, single-component, self-expanding polyurethane thermal insulation foam with a special spray applicator. Highly efficient thermal and acoustic insulation, flexible, and waterproof. It seals all hard-to-reach areas, allowing for easy coverage of both horizontal and vertical surfaces. It is also ideal for insulating uneven or curved surfaces, i.e., anywhere traditional insulation methods would be difficult to apply. It helps eliminate thermal bridges and prevents condensation. Application: Suitable for use on all types of surfaces to provide thermal and acoustic insulation. Spray-applied thermal insulation is ideal for use in hard-to-reach areas where traditional insulation is difficult to apply. It is also suitable for thermal insulation of attics, balconies, bathrooms, garages, basements, tanks, and containers. Used on lintels, doors, ceilings, and other areas of residential construction prone to thermal bridging. Suitable for insulating all common building materials (e.g., brick, stone, wood, EPS, most metals, plasterboard, rigid PVC, etc.). Not suitable for use on: PE, PP, PTFE, and silicone. Always test for adhesion and compatibility on each surface before use.
Application
How to use: Place the applicator onto the gun nozzle. Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Secure the can to the gun. Holding the gun handle with one hand, screw the can onto the gun with the other. Before screwing the can on, make sure the gun is not pointed at anyone. Do not screw the can upside down or rotate the gun on the can. Adjust the applicator to the desired position (depending on vertical or horizontal spraying pattern). Unscrew the regulator on the gun to the maximum setting. Control the foam output by pressing the gun trigger. Spray the foam from a distance of approximately 40 cm from the surface. The distance is selected depending on the width of the surface being sprayed – the narrower the area, the shorter the distance, and vice versa. Remember that the sprayed foam doubles in size. Do not spray layers thicker than 2.5 cm onto the surface at one time. If additional coats are required, wait approximately 30 minutes before applying the next coat.
