BosmanLux’ summer foam is a one-component sealing and installation pu foam that undergoes curing under the influence of airborne moisture. Surface drying time: 20 minutes; full curing time: 12 hours. ‘bosman lux' foam is perfectly adhesive to most building materials, except pe, silicone, and ps. The cured foam can be cut, polished, plastered, and painted; however, it should be protected against direct sunlight. 'Bosman' foam is recommended especially for installation of doors and windows. Thanks to its perfect expandability, it penetrates all pores and hollows, enabling complete sealing and insulation. It has many uses in the building industry, for example in filling and insulating of cable bushings and pipe culverts, thermal insulation of water supply, sewerage and central heating systems, silencing and sealing of partition walls and car or boat cabs, and joining and sealing of prefabricated wooden elements during timber frame construction.
Application
Before use, the container with foam should be kept at room temperature for at least 24 hours. Use in ambient temperature from + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C. Before application, shake the container well for 15 seconds, screw the gun on the foam. When working, keep the container upside down. Before applying the foam, wet the substrate and then sprinkle the fresh foam with water. The surfaces must be clean, free from dust, grease and dust. Secure any adjacent surfaces with tape. During growth, the foam expands approximately 2.5 times. Use BOSMAN CLEANER to clean the gun and remove fresh, uncured foam. Hardened foam can only be removed mechanically. Protect the filled gaps against sunlight. Store and transport upright. Transport in the trunk of the car - never in the passenger compartment.
