Effectively removes cracks in ceilings, walls and plaster.
Bosman Extra Putz Filling and Repair Compound is a repair compound with the addition of specialized fibers. It is ideal for joining plasterboards. For renovating interior walls and ceilings in dry rooms, on all typical construction substrates, including deformable surfaces and old paint coats. For filling both small gaps, holes, and cracks, as well as filling larger gaps.
FEATURES: Ready-to-use, with a thick consistency that makes it easy to scoop larger amounts onto a trowel and spread evenly throughout the joint. Suitable for application with a spatula, roller, or bazooka. Effectively removes cracks in ceilings, walls, and plaster. Very high, permanent elasticity allows it to adapt to so-called active cracks in the substrate without creating additional shrinkage cracks (it is excellent for joining plasterboards, eliminating all types of stresses, especially in older buildings). There is no need for reinforcing tape.
How to use
Degrease the substrate and remove all loose paint layers. It is recommended to prime it. Apply with a putty knife, stainless steel trowel, or plastic trowel. Press down firmly to ensure the compound completely fills the crack and adheres well to its sides. Apply a layer up to 5 mm thick at a time. When filling plasterboard joints, press the compound into the gap with a putty knife along its length. Once completely dry, the surface can be sanded with coarse sandpaper and coated with any type of plaster, plasters, or decorative paints. RECOMMENDATIONS: Wear a dust mask and safety glasses when sanding. Wash off any dirt and debris with water.
