Product properties
Bonding mirror mosaics (mirror to mirror bonding), direct fixing of decorative mirrors on various substrates: glass, tiles, concrete, plasters, and in wooden, plastic, and metal frames.
Does not contain solvents. Super strong sealing adhesive with a neutral curing system. Intended for bonding and fixing mirrors and glass mosaic. Its color and texture enable using it also for sealing mirror edges. Excellent adhesion to most building materials (substrates), e.g. Glass, tiles, varnished and raw wood, concrete, aerated concrete, cement mortars, glass laminates, metals, and also most non-plastic artificial materials.
Application
The surface on which the product is to be applied should be clean, free from dust, grease, grease, rust and other substances that impair adhesion. Glass, glazed surfaces, wood should be degreased with alcohol, gasoline or another solvent. Remove the cap, cut the tip of the cartridge. Apply the applicator and cut it at an angle. Put the tube into the squeezer-gun. Squeeze out the contents of the container by pressing the plunger from the bottom. The product should be applied in parallel vertical stripes or pointwise to allow evaporation of by-products of silicone hardening. The edges of mirrors should not be sealed until the silicone is cured. Depending on the size and weight, the mirror should be supported for several to several hours. In the case of using mirrors of an unknown manufacturer, make a test of gluing before gluing. The mirror should be protected in accordance with the PN-EN 1036: 2001 standard.Glass in construction - float glass mirrors with a silver coating for internal use or the DIN1238 standard with the following coatings: -0.7g / m2 silver, -0.2 g / m2 copper , -50µm thickness of primer and topcoat, including 20µm of primer. Before using the product, it is recommended to perform an adhesion test on the applied substrate. Due to the variety of materials on the market (mirrors, varnished glass), it is recommended to perform tests on a small distance.
