Product properties
A multi-purpose liquid felt designed for renovating vertical surfaces such as walls, basements, roofs, trim, and garden structures such as gazebos, toolboxes, sheds, and more. It has excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces, including concrete, plaster, roofing felt, trapezoidal sheet metal, asbestos cement, metal roof tiles, cement and ceramic roof tiles, bituminous coatings, wood, galvanized sheet metal, and lawn plants. The liquid felt has excellent coverage, high elasticity, and dries to a water- and UV-resistant coating.
How to use
Substrate: Stir the product well before use, do not dilute. The substrate to be painted should be seasoned, dry, clean, strong, stable, level, dust-free, and degreased. Failure to do so will reduce the adhesion of the coating to the substrate. Absorbent substrates should be primed with a deep-penetrating primer, e.g. BOSMAN. Apply the liquid felt by brush, roller or spray (nozzle Ø min. 3 mm, recommended pressure 5 bar). Apply a minimum of 2 layers. Apply subsequent layers after the previous layer has dried. For a coating that is to have sealing properties, the final thickness should be at least 1 mm. The drying time of each layer is on average 2-3 hours at 20°C (dust-free). Full hardening of the finished coating: 12-24 hours (depending on external conditions). Lower temperature and increased air humidity extend the drying time. Work should be performed at air and substrate temperatures between +10°C and +25°C. The freshly applied layer should be protected from weather conditions (sun, wind, precipitation, fog) and moisture until fully cured. The durability of the coating is influenced by the durability of the substrate itself, proper surface preparation, and the correct application of the liquid felt. This product is intended for vertical surfaces and not suitable for surfaces subject to heavy traffic. It is recommended to clean tools with water. Consumption: For one layer, 0.4–0.8 kg per 1 m². Consumption largely depends on the quality of the substrate, application method, and system solution.
Store and transport in a dry and shaded place in original, tightly closed containers, at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C.
Use the preparation within 12 months from the production date on the packaging.
